Guerilla Eats at The Beagle.

I’m sure everyone knows by now, as it’s definitely one of the most exciting things to happen in Chorlton for a while, but The Beagle has teamed up with Guerilla Eats. The result is an amazing selection of street food, six days a week, right on our doorstep.

We went down to the opening night and the place was a hive of activity. With food from not one, but three traders, everywhere we looked people were tucking into delicious dishes in the sunshine. We love Mexican food so opted for Margo & Rita who has there purple van parked at the side of the building.

photoAs always, for us it’s the service that counts. I had a lovely chat with the two people making the food while we waited a matter of just minutes for them to serve up tasty tacos. We went for the chicken and chorizo, but I know they had a veggie option too.

We also tried the sweet tacos, apple puree, salted caramel sauce and cream spinkled with cinnamon. I have to admit these tasted a bit like a McDonalds apple pie, (not a bad thing, if you ask me) but a lot better! I could have eaten about 6 of them so I’d definitely recommend giving them a go.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m not a food blogger, I just like writing about things I’ve enjoyed. So if you want the full lowdown on all the other things on offer you couldn’t do much better than having a nosey at
